Diploma of nobility from franz joseph i (emperor of austria 1848-1916) for the imperial councillor and major industrialist (vice president of the austrian northwest steamship company and the jaworzno coal works) leopold sachs (* vienna, january 9, 1848; † ibid, september 3, 1920) with the award of the title "nobleman of sachsenhall". Diploma of nobility issued in vienna, march 25, 1912, with the emperor's own signature. Parchment libel (format approx. 38. 5 x 29 cm) made of 4 parchment sheets, on which the text of the document on seven pages in multi-coloured hand calligraphy, printed border. Coat of arms signed "f(riedrich) junginger". Inside of the diploma of nobility lined with white silk moiré. Purple velvet cover with gold-embossed double-headed eagle, attached wax seal in a bronze seal capsule, metal box. Date: 25 March 1912.
