Muebittrichkloster1700, Michael Wening, 1 January 1701

Munich. The bittrich monastery, or pütrich monastery, a women's monastery complex in its state around 1700, based on a copperplate engraving by michael wening, published in description of the electorate and duchy of upper and lower bavaria in 1701. The pütrich monastery was dissolved in 1802-1803 and the last parts of the building had already been demolished by 1806. It shows the situation opposite max-joseph-platz, along residenzstrasse, at the corner of perusastrasse. Approximately the current buildings on residenzstrasse 11 and 12, parts of perusastrasse itself and the rear along theatinerstrasse. Date: 1 January 1701.
