Portrait of ito mancio (around 16 years old). He was a japanese nobleman, christian samurai, a leader of tenshō embassy and the first official japanese emissary to europe (1583-1590). Domenico tintoretto brush. When the delegation visited venice in 1585, the senate asked jacopo tintoretto to make it. It is believed that it was later finished by jacopo's son domenico.
