- louis xiv in armor before the siege of namur (1692), the last siege that the sovereign led in person. The king wears the white sash and the staff of commander-in-chief. - the grand dauphin, louis de france known as monseigneur, is in armor, his waist surrounded by the sash of command, holding the marshal's baton, in front of the siege of philipsburg (1688).
