The ann lucas hunt building on the northwest corner of fourth and olive streets. The architect for the building was major francis d. Lee. A streetlamps stands on the corner and a horse-drawn streetcar stands in the street in front of the structure. Signs on the second floor of the building read "missouri mutual life insurance company" and "office - st. Louis fair grounds". On the first floor, a sign reads ". Pacific despatch via kansas pacific railway" and "general union rail road ticket office". In the windows the following advertisements can be seen: "erie and pacific despatch via north missouri and kansas pacific, railways and connections, through contracts given for freight to all points in colorado, new mexico, mexico, arizona, wyoming, utah, montana, idaho, and california", "erie and pacific despatch via erie, ohio and mississippi, and baltimore and ohio, railways and connections, contracts for freight given for all points east", "overland freight line via union pacific railway for montana and idaho, through bills of lading given to points in these territories, w. T. Richardson, agent. E. G. Maclay and co. Prospectors", "general union ticket office, st. Louis east and west, locations and palace coaches, secure fees", "through tickets at lowest rates to new york, boston, albany, dunkirk, buffalo, cleveland, cincinnati, pittsburgh, philadelphia, washington city, and all points east for sale at this office", and "erie railway, st.
