Beatrice and Isabella d'Este, Benvenuto Tisi, between 1503 and 1506

Benvenuto tisi da garofalo (1481 —1559) - treasury room, 1503-1506 - palazzo costabili, ferrara. The faces of the two sisters, beatrice (left) and isabella d'este (right), were recognized in the two spectators who, tenderly embraced, look out from the fresco. Since it dates back to the years 1503-1506, it would constitute a tribute from the este family to the now defunct joint venture. Object Type: painting. Date: between 1503 and 1506. Depicted People: Isabella d'Este and Beatrice d’Este. Collection: Palazzo di Ludovico il Moro - Museo archeologico nazionale di Ferrara. Beatrice e Isabella d'Este
