So-called portrait of marie mancini (1639-1715), but is probably a depiction of marie louise d'orléans (1662–1689), niece of louis xiv of france identification proposed by user ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with some portraits of marie louise d'orléans (see images below) and the lack of physical resemblance of the sitter of this portrait to other representations of marie mancini (see images below). Date: circa 1720-1725, after a painting of circa 1680 (approach based on the sitter's clothing and hairstyle). Dimensions: height: 110 cm (43.3 in); width: 98 cm (38.5 in). Medium: oil on canvas.
