the bnf's copy of tafereelen van de staatsomwenteling in frankrijk (1794-1807) is published in amsterdam, j. Allart, 1795-1801, 2 vols. In-8º, in the 25 deliveries there are 25 frontispieces by vinkeles and vrydag, 77 figures by bulthuis, vinkeles and vrydag and 79 portraits by claessens and portman. The troops led by baron de benseval (1721-1791) were pushed back by the armed people (led by the french guards) to the chaillot gate, on the champs-elysées. Cf. De vinck (bib.
