The image depicts a chimneypiece with female figures and masks decorating the andirons. The jambs consist of greek keys, masks, and other composite classical symbols. The mantel is decorated at the center with a medusa-like head, flanked by swans and then by satyrs. Above is a frieze of winged putti. Date: 1769. Medium: etching on paper.
