Death of dom pedro i of brazil and iv of portugal, at the age of 36, on september 24, 1834. Dom pedro died in the same room in which he was born (called "don quixote's room"), in the queluz palace, in lisbon. Beside him are the empress-widow dona amélia de beauharnais (at the head) and queen dona maria ii (on her knees). Date: 1834.
