Copy of scene in covent garden (the topography reversed in the printing process) with an elaborately dressed middle-aged woman heading towards st paul's church followed by a small servant boy; to the right two young gentlemen embrace market girls while other women huddle around a fire and large baskets of vegetables, behind them is the single-storey building of tom king's coffee house with icicles along the edge of the roof and a fight taking place within; to the left, in the middle distance, a number of people including two small boys with school bags on their backs and a man holding a placard advertising dr rock's remedy; after hogarth.
