His forehead is slightly receding. His sideburns are bushy. The light, which comes from the left, illuminates the left part of his face and leaves the right part more in shadow. He wears a white tie around the neck and a frill, as well as a closed white waistcoat with a high collar and wide lapels. Over it, he wears an open dark blue frock coat with a wide collar and large buttons.
