Montage presenting the inscription accompanying the upper register of the central window (bay 0) of the apse: "having sounded the fifth trumpet, a great star fell having the key to the abyss and opened it; and the smoke from the well rose mingled with crowned saulteroles having the power to harm like scorpions to those who did not have the sign of god on their foreheads.
