Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 799, 5 November 1926

799. Vow "reverend st. Petka" in the town of koprivshtitsa. The slab is stuck on one of the eastern bays that surround the town of koprivshtitsa, called st. Paraskeva, to the right of the hill of st. Nicholas. It is made of white limestone, split, with dimensions of 60x60x15 cm. If it is compared by the pattern of lines, crosses and letters engraved on it with the other dated stone monuments in koprivshtitsa, it will not be older than 1780. The feast of st. Petka (st. Paraskeva) is served here, and a prayer is made for rain. Sketched on 5. Xi. 1926. Date: 5 November 1926.
