New Amsterdam 1684 Visscher, Nicolaes Visscher, 1650-1654

The drawing, discovered in 1991 in vienna's albertina museum (the drawing is in the austrian national library), illustrated the text of adriaen van der donck’s remonstrance and served as the prototype for the blaeu and visscher etchings. Date: 1650-1654.
