A military aircraft, piloted by the "good soldier" švejk and carrying a romanian officer; švejk took off after being told to "go (literally: fly) to hell" and ultimately landed with the plane and the officer in tripolis, africa. An illustration to a pre-wwi series of short stories (dobrý voják švejk) by jaroslav hašek where the famous character appeared for the first time. Date: 1912.
