Gabriel guay, poème des bois (woodland idyl), exhibited at the paris salon of 1889; exhibited at the 1900 exposition universelle in paris, where it earned the artist the first second medal, putting the painter hors-concours, and was purchased by the french state; subsequently deposited at the musée de draguinan. It was shown at the franco-british exhibition of 1908 in london. Present location unknown. Date: 1899.
