Aphrodite Anadyomene from Pompeii cropped
Fresco from pompei, casa di venus, ce. 1st century. Dug out in ce. 1960. It’s supposed that this fresco could be the roman copy of famous portrait of campaspe, mistress of alexander the great. Date: before 79 CE.
