BRASÃO DO IMPERIO (com o Nó da Nação) CERTO, 1822

Coat of arms whose heraldic design is more in line with official heraldry in which the so-called nation's knot (at the bottom that ties the coffee and tobacco branches) is in green and yellow. The color of this knot was made official by the royal decree of september 18, 1822, which created the brazilian national tie. More details in: book, more recent, 1990s, made by heraldists at the request of the brazilian government, has better information about the symbol with more correct heraldic design. Date: 1822.
