first, second or third edition of the map of amsterdam at a scale of approximately 1:24,000. The map may have been part of a 1768 republication of 'het verheerlykt watergraefs- of diemer-meer [. . . ]' by matthaeus brouerius van niedek, originally published in 1725 (= first edition), of a book not found with the presumed title 'geografie van holland' (second edition) or of the 'atlas of the world-famous purchasing city of amsterdam [. . . ]' published by j. B. Elwe in 1804. The edition cannot be determined because the map was cut off at the frame edge and the only distinguishing criteria, which were outside the map frame, were cut off.
