There is clearly more going on here than suggested by the experts at bruun rasmussen in their rather unimaginative choice of title. The dinghy in the center is not a fishing boat but appears to be a boat sent from the danish ship in the background, probably an inspection vessel of the danish navy. A person in the dinghy is trying to get in contact with the captain of the ship to the right. Object Type: painting. Date: between 1880 and 1930.
