Painting of saint praxedes by felice ficherelli (1603–1660). This variant was “formerly in the collection of carlo del bravo in florence, … now in a private collection in ferrara”. It is believed to be based on an earlier ficherelli painting, in possession of the bardi-serzelli families until 1954 file: saint praxedes by ficherelli (bardi-serzelli version). Depicts saint praxedis, robed in red, washing the blood of a decapitated christian martyr in a small urn. Date: 1645.
