Old postcard published by ev n° 294paris 19th arrondissement: the metro at the villette roundabout (today: place de la bataille-de-stalingrad) we can see, from bottom to top: the lock located at the end of the bassin de la villette which turns into the canal saint-martin. At the mouth of the canal is a kiosk of the compagnie générale des omnibus, which was one of the tram and bus companies in paris.
