View of a moorish interior, through two horseshoe arches and drapes, lit by a an opening in the ceiling, to left a lady in fine robes reclines on a couch and is addressed by an elegant man, possibly a suitor, half-kneeling before her, at the back a man in robes and a turban standing close to a doorway with a view of a city beyond; after truchot lithograph on buff chine collé.
