I went to the train that was transporting the wounded and said i was from confederate leave and couldn't stand. I got a nice seat. In nuremberg i went for a walk and looked at the city. You can see all sorts of things from the attacks. We often have air raid warnings here too, but thank god nothing is thrown. The pigs usually come at lunchtime, just when we're on a break. Then we carry on duty straight away. What's it like at home with the alarm? i heard that they were in southern germany too, hopefully they'll leave us alone! - you probably already have the pictures, hopefully they turned out well. Please send me three of them. The field post takes a long time to get here. If you hadn't sent the packages, i wouldn't have any mail yet. How long does my mail take? so karl is still in moravia, isn't he getting any vacation? i wrote to him at the vienna address. Mrs. Tschirtner must have forwarded it to him.
