The Danish corvette Flora., Carl Dahl, 1841

The flora was built at the royal dockyard (orlogsværftet) in copenhagen in 1826. She had her first commission as guardship in the sound in 1830. From 1837 she served every summer as training ship for danish cadets. She was then on war duty in 1848 and 1849 and after a few further commissions she was stricken from the navy list in 1856 and broken up in 1857. The lot contained two drawings by dahl.
