Prometheus lying chained to the rock with his naked body seen in profile, chains on his wrists and ankles, his right hand on the ground to support himself, a cloth draped around his left arm which he raises as he looks in horror at the eagle which has landed on him, its claws on his skin, its beak open, a view of the sea to right; after pallière lithograph on buff chine collé.
