Gorno-map, between 1580 and 1583

Map from 1580, preserved in the corridor of geographical maps of the vatican museums, with the town of gorno underlined in white. In this map from 1580 you can see lake endine on the right and some town names can still be recognized today. Strangely, the toponym ranzanig (ranzanico) refers to a locality near gandino after bianzano while it is currently found just above lake endine in the position occupied on the map by the locality pran near guarin (gaverina). Date: between 1580 and 1583.
