Protected in wood-framed brown leather case with lightly-embossed rose bouquet medallion motif, created circa 1847-1848. Original package parts, created circa 1847-1848: clear protective glass plate, brass rounded-corner rectangular mat ("double elliptical") with matte finish, narrow embossed decorative brass preserver, blush-colored velvet cover pad.
