1808 Coronation of Maria Ludovika as Queen of Hungary in Pressburg, 1 January 1835

Coronation of empress maria ludovica as queen of hungary in the cathedral of pressburg on september 7th, 1808 (the caption incorrectly states september 17th as the date). The empress kneels on a cushion in front of the high altar while the palatine hands the imperial crown to the primate; standing on the left under a throne canopy with the imperial orb and sceptre in his hands is emperor franz i; in the middle of the presbytery is the empress's throne with a floating canopy.
