View of the american pavilion at the 1900 paris world fair. The pavilion was designed by coolidge, from the firm shepley, rutan and coolidge. This architecture firm was based in boston, and was very successful at the turn of the century. Among other buildings, shepley, rutan and coolidge built the boston south station, and the john carter brown library at brown university.
