Advertisement designed by the artist änne koken and reproduced in full color in the illustrirten zeitung no. 3538 of april 20, 1911. Under the almost expressionistically sketched depiction of the vsm vogelschau factory buildings at the time, with their smoking chimneys, the factory halls on schulenburger landstrasse and the railway tracks at the (now so-called) hannover-nordstadt train station and koken's artist signature, there is the text "vereinigte schmirgel- und maschinen-fabriken ag. / vorm. S. Oppenheim & co. Und schlesinger & co. / hannover-hainholz". Below that are two of the company's trademarks, the one with the stag beetle for the vsm and the one with the turtle for the hansa-mills schmirgel-werk. Alongside images of the branch factories in harburg and london. There is also a list of vsm products: “emery, emery cloth, emery paper, glass paper, flint paper, emery wheels, grinding machines, milling machines, molding machines, foundry operating machines and sand processing plants”. Date: 20 April 1911.
