View of piazza del popolo facing south and the two twin churches of santa maria di monte santo (2 in the image) and santa maria dei miracoli. Stemming from the square, via del babbuino (4 in the image), via del corso (5 in the image), and via di ripetta (6 in the image) are also visible. On the left of the image, the obelisk of augustus stands out (1 in the image). As the result of the reconfiguration of the square, the obelisk occupies today a central spot in the piazza. Date: 1665.
