This photogravure (by goupil & co. ) was published in new york and was based on an 1886 painting by american artist charles frederic ulrich (1858-1908). Titled "glass blowers of murano," this painting dates from the period when ulrich had established a home in venice, italy. Murano glass is produced on the venetian island of murano. Date: circa 1886.
