279. Tombstone with an engraved cross. In the yard of the church "st. Ascension" in the town of shumen. White limestone. On the upper edge of the plate there is a niche for water or wine. Around the cross. There are engraved lines in the form of a canopy above it - the letter "f". Plate dimensions: 65x36x7 cm. When compared with the other dated monuments around it, this one can be dated between 1830 to 1850. Sketched on 1. Viii. 1930 (vol. 13, obr. 20. ). Date: 1 August 1930.
