István mérő (szentjános, 1873 - budapest, 1938) painter. He studied art in budapest, munich and paris. He studied at the artist colony in nagybánya in 1898. He was an art teacher at the ferenc józsef institute for several years. He exhibited at exhibitions in the capital from 1895. In 1912, he received a state small gold medal. [1]. Date: 1920.
