Moor blowing.

Lighter. Object used to stoke a fire. Hole on the mouth. This head-shaep lid was put on a vessel full of water placed on the fire. Once the water reached boiling-point, the water turned into steam, which came out from the moor's mouth with a hiss. Date: 14th century. Dimensions: 28x 17 cm. Medium: bronze. Collection: Museo Correr.
