[Parsonic Piety], Isaac Cruikshank, circa 1800

Twelve figures, arranged in two rows, of parsons in the pulpit, all half length, with book resting on cushion. Their words and gestures correspond. Dimensions: Height: 302 mm (cropped); Width: 464 mm (cropped). Medium: paper. Collection: British Museum. (Parsonic Piety) (BM 1935,0522.87.46)
