To the officers of the royal navy this print of h. M. S. Howe, 120 guns, lying off sheerness. Inscribed by. Publisher, pah9225 port broadside view of howe, with only the mainsails unfurled, but apparently at anchor, and the ensign flying from the stern. Celebratory flags hang in the rigging. A small naval cutter and two rowing boats are alongside and astern the howe. In the foreground there is a small sailing vessel with a single square sail and a rowing boat with two fishermen pulling in a net. In the distance, the coast is visible as well as several sailing vessels. Date: 19th century.
