DEU Lintorf COA, Wolfgang Pagenstecher, 1938

„or, above a terrace base curved vert, a tilia tree vert, the stem overlaid with an eightfold shoveled water wheel gules. “ the arms were granted in 1938. The arms show the (wrongly) canting tilia tree and a water mill wheel, which symbolises the lintorfer mühle, which was one of the main mills in the area. The small hill in the base of the shield symbolises the fact that the village originally was built on a hill. Date: 1938.
