We've built ourselves little earth bunkers, and it's quite nice there. Yesterday we built ourselves a stove out of bricks, the chimney is made of tin cans put together. It burns well though! you don't need to worry about hunger, we "got" enough on the way back! we in the platoon with 3 men still have 9 chickens, live ones! Date: 12 October 1943.
