interior: central medallion, chrysanthemums and rock pierced with cavity in the style of those from lake taihu 太湖 painted in enamels; the lip is highlighted with a vegetable scroll painted in enamels; exterior: the body is decorated with stylized lotus flowers and the lip is highlighted with a scroll of foliage; the whole is painted gold on a dark blue monochrome glaze background.
