Mrs. Siddons as elvira in 'pizarro'. Her words are from act iii. Iii (in pizarro's tent). She stands with her head turned in profile to the left, right arm extended in a commanding gesture. She wears a high-waisted, quasi-classical dress, with a long cloak bordered with gold, folds of which are twisted round her left arm. For the play see bmsat 9396, &c. 14 december 1799
