Portrait of king charles ii of spain (1661-1700). The monarch was ten years old when he posed for this portrait and appears dressed entirely in black and with his left hand resting on a console held by lions and where is a black hat. This painting was acquired by the museum of fine arts of asturias in 1981. The painting was made in a room of the former royal alcázar of madrid.
