dish called aburazara 油皿 (lit. “oil dishes”) or andonzara 行灯皿 (lit. “dishes for andon”) in seto ceramic intended to be placed on the wooden base of the andon lanterns, below the oil lamp, in order to collect excess oil, which could have caused a fire. The decor presents a stylized landscape. Plant elements are traced in a calligraphic manner: a flock of birds and two boats in the foreground.
