General bohumír kobliha on the board of the military academy in prague in the rank of captain. He attended this school between 1931 and 1934 and graduated with honors in 1934. Bohumír kobliha (* 1902 - 1981) was an officer in the czechoslovak army of the first republic and a topographer. After the outbreak of the second world war, he participated in the western foreign resistance as an all-army commander in combat units. He returned to his homeland after the war as an officer with front-line experience. In the rank of colonel of the general staff, bohumír kobliha became the first post-war commander of the military geographical institute (vzú) in prague. In february 1948 he was transferred to the reserve and in early 1949 he was arrested and accused of participating in the crimes of treason and espionage. In a fabricated trial, he was sentenced to ten months in hard prison. In 1950, his sentence was extended to three years in prison, which he served by working in uranium mines. At the same time, he was punished by loss of military rank and confiscation of property. After serving his sentence, he worked as an auxiliary worker and then as a clerk (until his retirement in 1965) at pozemní staveb přerov. In 1970, bohumír kobliha tried his military rehabilitation, which ended in failure. It was only managed to be rehabilitated after his death (1981) and after the velvet revolution in 1991 on the basis of a request submitted by his wife. Bohumír kobliha was fully rehabilitated, including the restoration of his military rank - colonel of the general staff. In 1995 he was promoted (in memoriam) to the rank of major general. Date: 1934.
