José ribeiro da cunha (ii) (1854-1915). Born in the algés area on december 5, 1854, he was the son of the important financier josé ribeiro da cunha (1813-1883), who had made a fortune in the exploitation of tobacco contracts and, between 1871 and 1877, built a mansion in the patriarcal queimada area, today largo príncipe real, at the end of the last century the seat of the rectory of the new university of lisbon.
