Charity is a painting found in naples in the capodimonte museum (inv. Q 373), part of the farnese collection. The painting plays on the contrast between the empty gaze of the blind boy on the left and the very intense gaze of the child on the right, who stares at the viewer to such an extent that he puts all the other characters on the margins, paradoxically becoming the main character and the center of the painting. Object Type: painting. Date: 1611. Dimensions: height: 180 cm (70.8 in); width: 128 cm (50.3 in). Medium: oil on canvas. Collection: National Museum of Capodimonte. Schedoni Carità
