1867 Tegelen

Map of tegelen (1867). In the kingdom of the netherlands, presented in a series of descriptions by j. L. Terwen, 1858, it was stated about tegelen: tegelen (1 hour from venlo), which with its hamlets has a population of 1,400. Has several factories, including 15 pottery and 7 tile factories, who live from agriculture and trade. Near the village are the castles holtmühle and the munt. This map itself shows: railways street and art roads ordinary roads dikes and quays footpaths churches mills and also locations such as on the north side: wilderbeek, drie kronen, tol, jammerdaalsche heide, hulsterhof.
