facade of the office of the drapiers corporation, architectural detail. Go back to the carnavalet museum in the courtyard called “cour des drapiers”, 23 rue de sévigné, 3rd arrondissement. Detail of the high relief representing the nave, symbol of the city of paris in a tondo surrounded by two caryatids supporting a pediment decorated with a woman seated on a background decorated with fleurs-de-lis. The drapers' hall had been built under henri iii and rebuilt, from 1785 to 1790, to the plans of legrand and molinos, framed by the streets of tonnellerie to the west, de la petite-friperie to the north, de la lingerie to the east and de la poterie to the south, 1st arrondissement.
